While Ron is steady and dedicated to a few hobbies and pastimes, I like new challenges. Ron has a garage filled with gardening supplies and implements along with a few woodworking tools. He has bookshelves filled with books he reads over and over--and he frequently adds to the collection. His iPhone has lots of audio books and he listens to them as he gardens and goes about his daily routine.

I have an office and workspaces filled with a computer, 4 printers, and lots of accessory support equipment. Add to that two Brother embroidery machines, two sergers and an Elna sewing machine.

In the space outside my office (and on the shelves of my office) I have a Silhouette Cameo, a Curio, a Mint and now the new Alta 3D printer.

Most of these devices connect to my computer, require various supplies and involve all sorts of files to use and read in order to best operate them.

This new blog area will be used to record my adventures in my pursuit of knowledge about the Alta and 3D printing.
